So much has happened lately.. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree I bought a house. I quit my job.
And I'm loving the journey :)
Past Trips...
In January of this year I went on a missions trip to Zambia with the non-profit organization Maranatha. While there I helped build an Adventist school in Livingstone, Zambia, and went to different schools in different towns to teach kids about important things they need to know (ex: the importance of hygiene, drinking water, exercise and nutrition, and how they can help prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS). We also had a medical clinic with us that went to different towns as well.
In August I went on a trip to Haiti to help fix up a school in Pichon. I went with the group Bucoseh (soon changing the name to E2H standing for Earth, Education and Health), a non profit group that was founded by Cindy and Pierre Balthazar. The non profit is close to both of their hearts, especially to Pierre since Pierre is from Haiti and grew up in Belle Anse and Jacmel.
My next trip...
I am not sure yet!! But I know it will be somewhere in Central America :)
Trying not to be scared with the lions!

Being in Haiti made me realize I really wanted to help out any way I could in different countries. After writing a journal during my trip to Haiti, I sent a copies to my family members and my dad ended up showing a copy to the editor of the newspaper in his town. This is the article that came out a couple weeks later in the Presque Isle Advance. I really wouldn't say that I am a missionary, but apparently that's the title you get when you want to help people. All that matters is that I was able to share my trip with everyone.
